So, The Lovesick Expo last Sunday at Ambient Plus Studio was awesome.
The Lovesick Expo is a very cool alternative wedding show sponsored by Offbeat Bride. It completely blew my expectations out the water (sounds weird because I was only expecting to have the most awesome time ever and meet the coolest couples)
It was the definition of what cool really is. There were Burlesque girls from the Atlanta School of Burlesque. There were people on stilts juggling, there was a live action painter, there was a bouncy house, there were fun games, there was an awesome DJ (getting my twerk on courtesy of Amp’d Entertainment) and a great bluegrass band (Seven Handle Circus), and there was some early Sunday drinking. Definition of cool.
I sent Phillip around with the camera to document what went on, so all the photos below were taken by him. I did a little something different with my booth, and set up a living space. There was plenty of cat action going on, and I glued Texas Pete Hot Sauce packets to my business cards (believer that everyone should carry some of that with them). Megan of Victory Blooms was so sweet to make me a flower crown to wear for the occasion. She will be doing the florals for my wedding and I just can’t wait!
I want to thank everyone who came out to support the show and who stopped by the booth to chill with me! Really one of the best experiences, and I definitely recommend the show to all couples and vendors. Enjoy!
